This week most of the big sales have stepped it up a notch with new lines added and bigger discounts on offer. And it’s not just fashion. There are plenty of bargains on homewares too!

For a start, the Blue Cross Sale is on at Debenhams and you can save as much as 70% across women’s clothing, menswear, luggage and home furnishings. This blue graphic towel bale, for example, has been reduced from £50 to just £15!

Similar savings are on offer at BHS, with some of the best deals on homewares, lighting and furniture. This Checkerboard flush ceiling light caught my eye and is now just £65, down from £130. And, if you’re looking for something a bit cheerful to take on holiday, take a look at this turquoise spotty suitcase, half-price starting at £20

Beauty bargains

Now is a great time to treat yourself to a beauty bargain, so here are my top three for this week:

  • Get £5 off at organic beauty store Lovelula when you spend £25 to celebrate their 4th birthday – just enter the code LULA at the checkout before it expires on 31 July.
  • There are great deals on gifts sets at Halfpriceperfumes.co.uk including the Clinique Full Potential Lip Plump and Shine Duo, reduced from £30 to £14.99 and a massive 80% off this Myeko Organic Skincare, reduced from £50 to just £10! The men aren’t forgotten either – they can save over 50% on this Ultraviolet for Men luxury box set, now just £29.99, or get this Davidoff Cool Water set, reduced from £35 to £19.99. Use the code hpp10off at the checkout to get 10% off your order.
  • Get a free Blush Wear Crème Cheek Colour worth £13 with any Jemma Kidd Make Up School purchase.

Books & games

This week, I’m bringing you the top book sales around as well as the best prices for new releases so you can catch up on some new reading or find an old gem with a bargain price tag:

  • Katie Fforde’s new hardback book ‘A Perfect Proposal’ is only £6.74 at Amazon and the hardback version of ‘The Fields of Death’ by Simon Scarrow is available at the top price of £8 at Tesco.
  • For teen fiction, Alyson Noel’s ‘The Immortals 3: Shadowlands’ is out now and costs just £3.48 at The Book Depository and if you haven’t got the others in the series, you can get ‘Evermore’ for £3.78 and Blue Moon’ for £3.49.

There are plenty of gaming bargains too this week so take your pick from these suggestions:

DVDs & boxsets

Here are the best deals on box sets and new releases – just a quick note also to say that Arrested Development fans can get seasons 1,2 and 3 for £9.99 each at HMV so don’t bother getting the box set of all three seasons which costs more at £45.99!

Freebie of the week

Stay green for free with this Bag for Life from Future Friendly – instead of using hundreds of plastic carrier bags a year, keep this on you for your weekly shop as an eco-friendly alternative. Supermarkets can charge quite a lot for these reusable bags so a freebie is always welcome and you can pick from 8 rather nice colours!

Apply for your free bag here – you’ll need to register first and unfortunately you must be over 18 and only one bag is allowed per household.

Mobile phone deal of the week

This week’s deal is a fantastic all rounder – for just £20 a month you can get the HTC Wildfire with 300 inclusive mins, a whopping 5000 texts and 500MB Internet, all on a 24 month contract with 3 Mobile!  Grab the deal here.

Competition of the week

This week you could win a £200 Boots Gift card to spend on whatever you like, from health and beauty products to eye tests and new glasses. You can also stock up on prezzies with some of the gift sets, or, save yourself a packet and get your summer holiday photos printed off! Enter the competition here.
