Health & Beauty bargains

If you wanting a pre-summer glow, at Feel Unique you can buy any two Xen-Tan products and choose from three free gifts worth up to £23.95. You’ll get the chance to choose your gift at the order confirmation page.

Rachel Robson highlights four ways to save money as you shop!

Cheapsmells is offering customers who buy anything from the Omnisens Paris range 50% off plus free UK standard delivery (normally 95p per item).

If you need a new pair of glasses, going online can save you hundreds of pounds. Check out Selectspecs.com which now has an exclusive range of prescription glasses for just £5. You can also buy prescription specs from Tesco from just £10 and for designer brand glasses try Spex4less and Perfectspecs.

Books & Games

There are all kinds of offers at Tesco on books right now including BOGOF on teen fiction and children’s picture books, plus Channel 4 TV Book Club best reads at two for £7.

Save over 80% on books at Bananas – the online clearance store from The Book People. There isn’t a massive selection but with some titles on sale for as little as 50p it’s certainly worth checking out. You will have to pay delivery, but only on orders under £25 so if you need to stock up (particularly on kids books) this is the ideal one-stop shop.

For new releases, Blueeyedboy (hardback) by Joanne Harris has been reduced to just £9.49 (RRP £18.99) at Amazon, which also has the best price for 9th Judgement (Womens Murder Club 9) – another hardback – by James Patterson at £9.48.

Letting your hair down doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg.

There are also top pre-order bargains at Play.com including Michael Connelly’s The Scarecrow for £4.99 (due to be released on 13 May) and Hard Girls by Martina Cole, also £4.99 (due to be released on 15 May).

For gamers this week, my top picks are Bioshock 2 for the Xbox 360 at ShopTo.Net for £24.85. You can also pre-order Super Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360) from Coolshop for just £22.69.

Fallout fans can get the Platinum edition of Fallout 3 for the PS3 from The Hut for £11.93 – whilst you’re there take a look at the ‘everything for £5’ section and snap up some bargains like Guitar Hero - On Tour for the Nintendo DS and Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End for the XBox 360.

DVDs & Boxsets

With kids back at school on Monday, some of you may be in serious need of some R&R so here are some top films for you to get stuck into! And, if these don’t tickle your fancy, head to HMV which has slashed box set prices by 80% but it can still be beaten by Amazon and other retailers on many of these so do check before you buy.

If you’re anything like me, waking up in the morning is rarely a happy occasion but with this Wiki MP3 clock from PrezzyBox for £19.95, you can wake up to your favourite tunes. All you have to do is plug it into a USB port on your computer and the software allows you to select the MP3 files of your choice.

There are some top deals at design store Nest this week. Head to the clearance section for 15% off lots of items including this Black & Blum Jimmy Bottle Opener (now £6.94) and this Normann Form salt & pepper set (now £12.59).

I also came across these 3 mini suitcases (for storing photos, little keepsakes etc) from the Cancer Research UK online store. Or for a retro feel – they come in red and white polka dots too. They both cost just £14.99 and you’ll be doing your bit for charity.

M&S has reduced the price of several digital cameras by £10 including the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62, now £119 (was £129) and the Fujifilm FinePix J250, now £139 (was £149). And, if you want to print off some snaps, there are several digital photo printers on offer in the Electricshop.com clearance section.
