As we come to the end of January, it can mean only one thing - payday! If you're after a little retail therapy, but don't fancy breaking the bank to do it, why not have a look at these ace bargains and discounts.

Fashion and homewares

We may be at the end of January, but a host of sales are still going on! Be sure to take advantage of them while you still can!

  • Barratts: Up to 20% off boots.
  • Burton: Final reductions of up to 70% off selected lines.
  • Coast: An extra 20% off sale items.
  • Debenhams: Final clearance, up to 70% off items in the Blue Cross sale.
  • Dorothy Perkins: Final clearance - many items £7 or less.
  • Faith: Up to 70% off selected lines in the winter sale, with boots up to half price.
  • French Connection: Massive reductions in sale, with footwear at less than £30 and T-shirts at £10 and less.

  • Next: The end of season sale continues with all items at least 50% off, with 70% off women's tall and plus sizes.
  • Office: Up to a whopping 75% off a range of footwear.
  • Oasis: Further reductions in the sale, with many items up to 70% off.
  • TOPMAN: Final clearance is taking place, many items up to 75% off.
  • Urban Outfitters: Further massive reductions, with dresses and male tops starting at just £9.99 and men's coats and jackets from £39.99.
  • Wallis: Up to 70% off selected lines.
  • Warehouse: Many lines just £5 or £10!

If you fancy sprucing up your home with some new curtains, head over to Debenhams where many pairs are down by as much as half price, including these natural 'Ceda' lined curtains, down to £34-50-£104.50 from £69-£209

And for the kitchen, you can save a whopping £31.50 on this ace Dark Grey Roast 'n' Rack, which you can get for just £13.50!

Or if you fancy stacking up on bathroom towels, John Lewis has slashed prices on a stack of towels, with prices starting at just £1.50.

They are also selling this beautiful Walton coffee table at half price, down from £399 to £199.50.

If you'd prefer to spend your weekend immersed in a good book, why not have a gander at these great  offers!

    The reason John Lewis has towels from $1.50 is because they've sold out of pretty much everything except the facecloths

    No, the reason there are only face cloths left are that the towels were priced at £1.50.
