I have just entered the two competitions of the week. The pages describing both the comeptitions urge readers to enter by text after entering online, in order to double their chances of winning. Unfortunately, the rules for both competitions state only one entry per household. This is bad enough but each text costs over £1! I have emailed the editor of the site hosting the competitions, asking them to look into this but I thought I should let lovemoney users know directly.

Lots of places are selling off summer clothes now as they prepare for the Autumn/ Winter season. The sort of thing you would buy in early summer to take on holiday is now in the sales. Places like Matalan have some bargains and are doing back to school wear.

Some manufacturers are planning new models in things like smart phones and televisions, just about all tech products and the old ones are being discounted between now and the launch of the new ones in time for Christmas.
