Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Friday.

Frugal Friday - 30th March 2012

Frugal fashion and homewares

Grab a bargain with final reductions in the Marks & Spencer sale now with up to 70% off items. Also, if you buy two or more items of bedroom furniture you save 20%, and if you buy two or more selected sofas and armchairs you save 30% (ends 4th April).

Today is the final day of a two-day brand event at House of Fraser saving you up to 25% on brands and 10% off beauty and fragrance.

Label lovers can also save up to 65% on Alexaner Wang at The Outnet and up to 50% in the mid-season sale at Whistles.

There’s also a new half-price sale at River Island and Asos is offering 40% off selected Happy Items which you will have to hunt down in the Asos Collection sale, where you can still save 20% anyway.

At Very you can save up to 50% on home and electricals and up to 60% on fashion sale.

Austin Reed is also offering up to 60% off, perfect if you’re looking for formal shirts and smart workwear.

Or use MVC code VIPAF25 for 25% off everything at Burton, only until Sunday 1st April.

Next up, save 25% on crafted womenswear and fabric for men at Republic until midnight Sunday 1st April only. Or, head to Fat Face for 15% off summer styles.

The Fashion Pop Up Event has just begun at Dorothy Perkins saving you up to 30% on everything online and in-store.

This week at Wallis you can also save up to 30% on selected dresses and 20% on selected tops.

There are further reductions in both the Debenhams and the Miss Selfridge sales with up to 50% off (where you can also check out the new Designed By Collection).

If it’s accessories you’re after, the Outlet section of My Bag is well worth a peek as you can snap up items with savings of up to 80%.

Lots of items have 50% off or even more in the mid-season sale at Lipsy and don’t forget the half-price sale at Urban Outfitters is well underway now too.

Further reductions are also available at Hobbs, again with up to 50% off and remember you can save 25% when you spend £100 at Jaeger using the Grazia code GRZA25JR, valid until 3rd April.

  • There are lots of beauty items in the Happy Items sale at Asos where you can get 40% off selected items in the Asos Collection sale (where you can still save 20% anyway).  I saw Nails Inc polish for £8.50 (was £11), Yes To Carrots lip butter for £2 (was £3), Little White Lie exfoliator for £5 (was £7.50) and Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner for £8 (was £10).
  • I’ve seen a few beauty bloggers writing about the new additions to the Models Own Beetlejuice collection; Copper Pot, Tropical Sun and Indian Ocean, which all look gorgeous. Remember that although you can pick them up in Boots for £5 each, if you buy directly from the Models Own website you can get the whole set for £20 (saving you £10) or buy any three and save £3.
  • Spend over £40 at Benefit and you get a free Bad Gal mascara worth £10 – enter the code FREELASH at the checkout before 5th April.
  • You can still use the code 40MORE at The Body Shop checkout to get 40% off any order, expiring noon Monday 2nd April.
