The Harvey Nichols sale has been confirmed for Boxing Day with up to 70% off fashion. Find out what time the stores are open here. You can also save at least 50% in the Next sale from Boxing Day or online from 3pm on Christmas Eve.

Buy next year's presents now
Usually it makes sense to wait for the big January sales but so many start early now that you may miss all of the best bits if you leave it too late. Steer clear of the pre-packaged gift items (these should be cheaper after Christmas) but do check the high street and online sales now.
- Superdrug has a Blue Cross Sale worth a look – you can buy Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua 30ml eau de toilette for £19.99, saving you £8, and Diesel Fuel for Life Denim Him 75ml for £29.99 (RRP £44.50).
- At Amazon look out for cheap electricals such as the Remington Pearl Pro Styler ci9522 for £17.99 (RRP £29.99) and in the January Deals, get up to 70% off Karrimor and Nike Sportswear, gemstone jewellery and books, plus save up to 75% on watches.
- At Boots you can earn 1,000 extra Advantage points (worth £10 to spend in-store) when you buy any three premium beauty products in-store or online before Saturday 24 December. Premium brands include Clinique, Dior, Clarins, Benefit, Elizabeth Arden and This Works.
- Finally, at Urban Outfitters you can save up to 60% on these Christmas decorations and in-store at M&S there are half-price Christmas cards, wrapping paper and crackers.
Book bargains and game discounts

- Top pre-order deals at Amazon include No One Left to Tell by Karen Rose for £10.70 (RRP £16.99), Birthdays for Dead People by Stuart MacBride for £8.99 (RRP £14.99) and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green for £7.99 (RRP £12.99).
- The Amazon Stock Clearance top hardback picks include The Swimmer by Roma Tearne for £4.50 (RRP £14.99), Entertaining At Home by Rachel Allen for £8.80 (RRP £25) and Time of My Life by Cecelia Ahern for £5, saving you a handy £11.99.
And check out the best buys for gamers:
- For the Nintendo Wii, Now That's What I Call Music - Dance and Sing is £17.99 (RRP £39.99) on Amazon, but head to Zavvi to grab Kirby’s Adventure for £29.95 (RRP £39.99).
- You can also buy Rayman Origins for the Wii at Zavvi for £14.85, saving you £25.14, but if your console of choice is the PS3 or Xbox get it for £17.99 on Amazon, saving you £32.
- Or, if you want a new Nintendo DS game, stay put with Amazon to buy Super Pokemon Rumble for £19.99 (RRP £39.99) and Sonic Generations for £22.99 (RRP £39.99).

Freebies of the week
FCUK Facebook fans can enter their details to get a sample of FCUK friction eau de parfum. Or virtually decorate a Christmas tree on the L'Occitane website and when you’ve completed your masterpiece, fill in your details and they’ll send you an email with a voucher for a free 75ml Fleur Cherie body lotion to collect from your nearest store.
