Not long left now and time is running out for many online orders so get stuck into these bargains for women before it’s too late! Highlights include a Jane Austen Blu-Ray collection for under £15, stylish wall stickers from £2.99, half-price Emma Bridgewater stationery sets and £17 off the latest Babyliss Wave Envy styler!

Frugal Christmas: Budget gifts for women 19 Dec 2011

Books and DVDs

If you don’t want to buy a new film lots of big hits from earlier in the year are on offer now including the box set of films based on Stieg Larsson’s Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy for £11.99 (RRP £39.99) at Choices UK (order today for Christmas delivery).

It’s also your last day for free Super Saver Delivery at Amazon so grab the best buys quick! There are a fair few steals in the Deals of the Week section including the The Complete Forsyte Saga series for £9.47 (RRP £29.99), the entire Cold Feet Collection for £13.47 (RRP £68.79) and The Jane Austen Collection on Blu-Ray for £14.97 (RRP £34.99).

Beauty gifts

Get the Tresemme Salon Professional 220 Hair Straighteners for only £19.99 (RRP £29.99) at Currys. Or take a look at the beauty electricals which have up to 50% off at Superdrug including this Philips Satinelle Soft Total Body epilator, now £27.99 (RRP £56.17) and this Superdrug hairdryer set for £14.99 (RRP £29.99).

The new must-have hair styler this year is the Babyliss Wave Envy Hair Styler which is cheapest at Amazon at £33 (RRP £50). This tool doesn’t require months of practice – you just clamp your hair, wait a few seconds and you’ve got perfect mermaid waves.

Or for a cheaper alternative get an old school crimper! I found the Babyliss Root Boost Crimper for £20.99 (RRP £19.99) at Currys.

Fashion gifts

At Accessorize today is the last chance for standard delivery (costs £2.95 or free if you spend over £40). You can order on Wednesday for guaranteed next day delivery (costs £5.95) but by then it will be more sensible to pop into your local store. Look out for cool stocking fillers such as this Breakfast At Sniffys travelcard holder for £3, Candy Stripe Alphabet keyrings for £4 and this lovely Fairytale Charm set for £5.

If you’re feeling uninspired by high street prices check out Missguided.co.uk. They are bang on trend and lots of items have been heavily discounted. Some nice bits include this pleated dress for £12.99 (was £24.99), these palazzo trousers for £4.99 (was £19.99) and just because I love them (and you’d pay a tenner for them in Topshop) these skull print tights for £5.99 and bow suspender tights for £7.99.  What’s more, you can get free UK Next Day Delivery on all orders over £45.

Tomorrow (20th December) is the last day for UK delivery at Finest Imaginary which has some fantastic bits for teens and young women including a cute Party Animals note set for £2.50, Sweetheart plasters for £3.95 and a cool acrylic camera necklace or XOXO necklace for £7.

Homeware gifts

If you want to buy something to jazz up their room, Bouf has some fantastic vinyl wall stickers. My pick of the bunch would be the Love Birds for £11.99, the Tea Revives You for £12.99 and these roses stickers from £2.99. Order by 11am Tuesday 20th December for UK delivery in time for Christmas and, if you spend over £75 use the code TENNER2011 for £10 off.

For mums who love to cook – or perhaps just love an organised kitchen – recipe boxes are decorative and practical. This one is for cake recipes and costs £8.39 (RRP £11.99) and while you’re there check out the Emma Bridgewater items on sale such as this hearts writing set for £4.24 (RRP £8.49) and this box of polka dots and stripes notecards and envelopes for £3.49 (RRP £6.99).

Yeah, Christmas is exactly the season when nearly all women urgently need to make a huge number of online purchases to finish the traditional New Year preparations. I personally adore New Year Accessorizes (Alphabet keyring is my favorite one :-))) and I never spare my no credit check loans to them, because these little things really make me feel happy!
