Regular readers will know that, earlier this week, we rounded up the best discounts and deals on gifts for women.Yesterday, we looked at gifts for men. Monday, we’ll look at discounts and deals for parents, grandparents and in-laws and Tuesday, we’re going to round-up the best bargains for kids, teenagers and babies.

Here are my frugal finds for top gifts this Christmas:

• Don’t miss the 12 Days of Christmas Sale at Amazon running until 12 December. Offers include up to 60% off homewares, up to 65% off selected books, and up to 70% off selected jewellery.  
• For cheap toys, there are sales all over the place including up to 75% off at The Toy Shop, half-price toys at both Sainsbury’s and Tesco, plus up to 50% off toys at Debenhams.
• Better than half-price deals at Boots this week include the designer FCUK Charm Tote Bag, reduced from £45 to £22 until 9 December only, and these Remington Wet2Straight slim hair straighteners for £31.99 – that’s a massive £46.30 off the retail price!

Browse through the top deals for book worms this week:

• Get Su-Bo’s autobiography The Woman I Was Born to Be at Amazon for the lowest price of £7.79 (RRP £18.99), and stay put for Stephen King’s Full Dark, No Stars which is only £6.84, saving you £12.15!
• You can save 45% on the beautiful hardback collection Human Chain by poet Seamus Heaney, now £7.08 at The Book Depository.
• Finally, if you want to read Maggie O’Farrell’s fantastic novel The Hand That First Held Mine head to The Book People where it costs just £4.99 (RRP £16.99).
