    I'm with gk(lotsofnumbers) on this one. Why is it deemed acceptable to have a 24month contract on a mobile, whilst virtually every other contract you can get (broadband, tv, gas, electricity, car insurance etc) is still 12 months? Unfortunately this sets a precedent which we are seeing with broadband contacts becoming longer.

    Stick to the 12months people! Don't let them tie you in!

    Probably because when you get choose your gas supplier they don't give you a free boiler.

    I still agree though, 2 year contracts are far to long for phones that become outdated after a year and a bit (if you get the top of the range).

    By the way I recently got a Samsung Omnia 7 from buymobilephones.net and it was only £25.67 a month for 18months. 300mins, 300 texts, unlimited internet. Also it is such a great phone. Probably the best windows phone 7 available at the moment
