Top 10 energy tariffs this week

Check out the top 10 energy tariffs this week....

After the withdrawal of npower’s Go Fix, there is only one fixed energy supplier left under £1,000 with OVO offering a fix at £926 and at £949.

This tariff will be withdrawn on Saturday 21st August - so you need to switch today if you want to snap it up!

Energy suppliers are expected to raise the cost of gas and electricity this winter by between 5 – 10% pushing the cost for the average household bill of £1,150 by £115 to an average £1,265.

This deal is immensely popular right now, with broad news coverage and it is expected to run out imminently.

The best alternative option to this cheap fixed deal is to go for the cheapest online variable deal. This should compensate for the majority of any price rises that are likely to come along this winter.
