My first money moment

Read about Ed Bowsher's first 'money moment.'

I said yesterday that I'd be doing a 'money moment' every day for the foreseeable future and I'd write them up daily in this blog.

So here goes. Today I applied for an Abbey Zero credit card. It'll save me money when I go abroad as it doesn't charge transaction fees when you're abroad - unlike the vast majority of cards.  You can read more about Abbey's card in 'Top new card for holiday spending has a big catch.'

Sounds rather interesting. Especially in the regard that I am over paying transaction fees on card usage abroad. So.. I might look into that myself!
