The Money Moment

Take a moment for your money!

At lovemoney.com we believe you should build a relationship with your money. One way to build that relationship is to do small financial tasks frequently.

The tasks can be really simple things like checking that your bank statement is accurate. Or looking into car-sharing schemes for the drive to work. Or maybe you could print off some restaurant vouchers.

Most of these tasks won't take long - just a few minutes. That's why I talk about the 'money moment.' If you make the time for regular money moments, I believe you can make a significant difference to your finances. And that will give you more time and cash to spend on the things that you really like doing.

Ideally, I reckon it's best to do a money moment every day. But if you just can't face that, then try weekly instead.

Over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to take my own advice and do a money moment every day. When I've done it, I'll write a short post for my blog here. And if you fancy writing about one of your money moments, then please use the comment facility at the bottom of this blog. I'd love to hear from you.
