MPs ARE worse than journalists

I've always rather admired Ann Widdecombe.

I've always rather admired Ann Widdecombe. I'm not a right-wing Tory, but I like her willingness to speak her mind. I laughed this morning when I read her views on MPs' expenses:

"But I must say having people from the journalist profession passing judgement on anyone's expenses is a bit like having Satan heading a commission on sin."

It's a good line, but it's not fair. Sure, many journalists misuse their expense accounts, and I condemn that. But it's different when it comes to MPs. Most journalists don't work in the public sector. If journalists are able to appropriate money that really belongs to Rupert Murdoch, then I'm not going to lose any sleep. MPs, however, have been stealing money that really belongs to us - the taxpayer.

One should remember that there are some MP's who are squeaky clean in this affair.

The trouble with LabConLib is that they are just too set in their ways and they don't think of the country they are suposed to serve, they only think of themselves - alas!

Personally I'd like to see a few BNP members sitting in the house and setting an example. The BNP aren't as bad as the press make out and people can find that out for themselves by logging on to:-

Nothing the media has to say could be as bad as what the BNP says for itself. Gains for the BNP would be a pretty sad outcome from all this.
