I’ve been nagging the lovemoney.com techies to get me a blog for months. And now finally the day has arrived! I’m a happy chappie.

I've been nagging the lovemoney.com techies to get me a blog for months. And now finally the day has arrived! I'm a happy chappie.

I've got lots of plans for this blog. Here are a few:

• I'm going to comment on the big financial stories of the day and say how they will affect the likes of you and me.
   
• I'll give some simple tips that could improve your finances.
   
• I want to get closer to the lovemoney.com community. There's a comment facility at the bottom of my blog posts - please have your say. Then I can blog about the topics you're interested in. I'd also be delighted if we could get some good lovemoney.com debates going.
   
• I'll link to the best of the web. I'm going to highlight some quality blogs as well as articles and videos on other sites.
   
• Sometimes I'll blog about non-financial stuff as well. The most likely topics are US politics, movies and music. But who knows? Other things may catch my eye.......
