This quote really takes the biscuit.

The most idiotic Texan politician ever

I'm stunned by this quote by the Attorney-General of Texas.

He said:  "It is almost the height of insanity of bureaucracy to have the EPA [US environment agency] regulating something that is emitted by all living things."

He's referring to CO2. There's no need for governments to try and regulate its output. As others have pointed out, he presumably thinks the same about human excrement.

It's also worth reading Paul Krugman's take on this ridiculous statement.

    Only just seen this. Good headline,and when you consider that he has serious competition for that title, he has had to work hard to earn that.
